"La llegada"

At the beginning of the story, the movie looked like a boring movie, I guess I was wrong about that. You have to put lots of attention especially at the end, where I didn't understand and had to have someone explain to me. The arrival (la llegada), it's a science-fiction movie, that tells a story about aliens' invasion and 2 important translators, the doctor Louise and Ian and the Coronel Weber. 

Mostly in the movie, it tells the story of hoe Doctor Louise and Doctor Ian trie to communicate with the aliens, the first action that Louise make is get off the orange suit they were to have no contact with the alien, that protect them from getting an illness. But the doctor, get it off and that is what helps them have a better interaction. The Aliens, which their symbol is called Heptapodo, that is how the doctor, and the Aliens are exchanging words. The first word that they interact is "Human", and the alien every time they get a word, the aliens do a type of symbol. At the end, they Aliens are there to help the humans, their symbol shows the future and that is how they help the doctor stop the attack the government was going to do to the alien ship. They show how they could save contacting the chines government. 

In the movie, there are shown many translations error, for example "holly fuck", that if we translate it literally it means "acebo joder" but in the subtitles they are translating it like "diablos". an expression used in Spanish that contextualize the expression that he is getting surprised, and they are using an Oblique translation as they use a familiar language for personas that speak Spanish.  In the other hand, we have another phrase that is "everybody move out", which if we translate it literally, we will have " todos mover afuera" but on the subtitles we only get "avancen". Having a smaller phrase that practically is corrected, only that they are shorter and using an Oblique Translation, adapting words in Spanish to gives the message. There is another frase that is, "I can show that for now" that means in Spanish "Yo puedo enseñar eso por ahora" but on the subtitles we get the phrase "Lo puedo convencer con eso", that come out handy with what is happening in the scene and use an adaptation translation that comes from the roots of an Oblique Translation. "Come on up" is another example, that they use in the subtitles as "Anda ven" when if we see it from another eyes, its "vamos arriba". I guess on the last phrase we can spot an anglicism that is "busier", the phrase is "It's much busier" that on the subtitles gives us a definition "Es mas complejo". Here we are adapting and use words as Anglicism. Mostly in this movie in the subtitles we can si that we are using words that contextualize and adapt to the movie's scene, some expression or exchanging words for others. They are mostly using an oblique translation that help viewer that watches the movie in Spanish understand.
